Der Nintendo 3DS hat sich in den ersten neuen Monaten häufiger verkauft als dazumal die Nintendo Wii. Das gab Nintendo of America vor einigen Tagen bekannt. Grund genug, um einmal alle verfügbaren Spiele für den Handheld mit 3D-Funktion aufzulisten. Das gute daran ist, dass der 3DS abwärtskompatibel ist und damit alle DS-Spiele nutzbar sind. Die Spieleliste ist in alphabetischer Reihenfolge mit Stand von Januar 2012.

Die bunten Klötzchen haben schon Millionen von Videospiele- Begeisterten nächtelang wach gehalten.

Die Rede ist von Tetris. Das Spiel, dass im Jahr 1984 von Alexei Paschitnow erfunden wurde, zählt heute zu den erfolgreichsten Games weltweit. Hunderte Klone existieren bereits. Auf so gut wie jeder Plattform, Videospiele- und Computersysteme, gibt es Varianten des 84er Originals. Zum gegebenen Anlass steht nun die lang erwartete Jubiläumsausgabe für den Nintendo 3DS an.

Die jetzt verfügbare Version kommt mit einigen Neuerungen und besitzt gleich zig verschiedene Spielmodi. Insgesamt sind es 20. Dazu gehören beispielsweise der Marathon-Modus, Battle-Modus, Fever-Modus und Survival-Modus. Gezockt werden kann alleine oder im Mehrspielermodus.

Damit aber nicht genug. Dank der integrierten Kamera lassen sich auch wieder AR-Karten nutzen. AR steht für Augmented Reality – also erweiterte Realität. Hierfür legt der Spieler eine solche Karte auf den Tisch und positioniert den Nintendo 3DS im Abstand von 30 cm. Der Spielspass ist perfekt. Schon purzeln die Tetris-Blöcke über einen dreidimensionalen Hintergrund.

Das Spiel „Tetris 3DS“ kostet ca. 27 Euro und ist ab dem 21. Oktober für den Nintendo 3DS erhältlich.

Wie alles anfing

Bekannt geworden ist Tetris vor allem auf dem ersten Gameboy von Nintendo. Dieser erschien im Jahr 1989 und wurde mehr als 80 Millionen-Mal verkauft. Zu Recht, denn die Möglichkeit über ein Linkkabel mit einem zweiten Gameboy gemeinsam zu spielen, war revolutionär. Vor allem Geschicklichkeitsspiele wie Tetris. Die einprägsame Spielmelodie (Music A) wurde schnell zum Kult. Diese basiert auf dem russischen Lied Korobeiniki.

Aber auch schon davor, auf dem NES, gab es eine Tetris-Variante. Das beliebte Spielprinzip wurde weiter ausgebaut und neue Varianten entstanden. Bekannte Vertreter sind Dr. Mario, Puyo Puyo oder Triptych. Auf dem N64 z.B. erschien 1997 Tetrisphere – ähnlich Blockout – als 3D-Puzzle.

Wir ist es aber um neue PS3 Spiele 2012 bestellt? Auf welche Genre-Highlights dürfen wir uns freuen? Fragen über Fragen, von denen eine spannender ist als der andere. Darüber hinaus wird 2011 kein neues GTA- Spiel erscheinen und somit ist davon auszugehen, dass der fünfte Teil der beliebten Rockstar-Serie im kommenden Jahr das Licht der Videospielwelt erblicken wird.

Grand Theft Auto Nachfolger

Bereits seit langem diskutieren, spekulieren und raten Fans der Serie, wo genau GTA spielen wird, welche Hauptpersonen im kommenden Teil vertreten sein werden, die Open World dieses Mal sein wird und welche neuen Features geboten werden. Zudem beschäftigt einen natürlich die Frage, inwiefern der PS3 Move Controller Einzug ins Spiel finden wird und wie es Rockstar mit dem Thema 3D Spiele auf sich hält. Doch GTA 5 ist bei weitem nicht der einzige Blockbuster, der kommendes Jahr auf uns zukommt.

Was bringt das Jahr 2012?

So darf man sich beispielsweise auch auf Mass Effect 3, Street Fighter X, Tekken oder auch einen neuen Bioshock-Teil namens “Infinite” freuen. Insgesamt sieht es ganz danach aus, als würden 2012 jede Menge PS3 Spiele aus dem Action-Genre auf uns zukommen. Verwunderlich ist dies weniger, da der gerade besagte 3D-Effekt bei diesem Genre gut umgesetzt werden kann. Stellt sich die Frage, welche Innovationen und Überraschungen Sony für die PS3-Gemeinde im kommenden Jahr bereithält. Sicher scheint, dass das Thema PS4-Spiele sicherlich nicht vor 2013 angegangen wird. Vermutlich wird man 2012 erst einmal das Angebot an 3D-Spielen erweitern, auf Nachfolger bereits etablierter Spiele-Serien setzen und zudem weitere PS3 Move Games veröffentlichen. Es bleibt spannend, welche neuen PS3 Spiele 2012 kommen werden.

Februar 2011 ist noch Ruhe vor dem Sturm auf Helghan. Ab diesem Datum werden sich Spieler weltweit wieder als ISA-Agent eine erbitterte Schlachte gegen die Helghast liefern, denn ab Ende des Monats kann man sich Killzone 3 beispielsweise im Internet oder bei den lokalen Spielehändlern kaufen.

Action-Shooter mit “Vorgänger”

Nichts für Minderjährige, denn wie schon der Vorgänger hat das Spiel die höchste Alterseinstufung und somit das rote “FSK 18″-Siegel erhalten. Alle anderen können sich freuen, denn Killzone 3 schließt nahtlos an Teil zwei an. So geht der erbarmungslose Krieg auf dem Planeten Helghan sofort gegen die Helghast weiter. Diese genetisch veränderten Humanoiden stellen sich wieder einmal als starke Feinde dar. Guerilla Games bietet dem Spieler eine sehr starke KI, was sich darin äußert, dass sich intelligente Feuergefechte mit dem Spieler geliefert werden können. So werfen sie sich auf den Boden oder wechseln die Deckung.

Dank starker Grafikengine und das hohe technische Niveau bietet der Hersteller dem Spieler eine mehr als ansehnliche Grafikpracht. Killzone 3 kann auf der Playstation 3 auch mit dem Move-Motion-Controller gespielt werden.

3D tauglich

Das Spiel bietet sogar – vorausgesetzt man hat einen 3D Fernseher – einen 3D Modus, der das Spiel noch mitreißender macht. Guerilla Games punktet hier nicht etwa mit allerhand Effekte wie herausschießende Kugeln, sondern mit einem „tiefem“ Bild, was einem das Gefühl gibt das man sich mitten in der Schlacht um Helghan befindet. Die Story wurde gelungen inszeniert und ist rasant und bietet dem Killzone 3 Spieler von Anfang bis Ende des Spiels effekt- und spannungsgeladene Gefechte die dem Spieler einiges abverlangen. Und es kommt noch mehr. Die Entwickler haben im Vergleich zu Killzone 2 bis zu zehnmal größere Levels eingebaut, was beim Mehrspieler-Modi erst richtig zur Geltung kommt.

Mit Recht kann man sagen, dass Guerilla Games sich die Shooter Krone holen möchte.

März 2011 seine neue Spielkonsole auf den europäischen Markt. Dabei handelt es sich allerdings um keine normale Weiterführung der erfolgreichen DS-Reihe. Der Nintendo 3DS kann mämlich eine ganze Menge mehr. Wie schon der Name verraten lässt, werden dreidimensionale Spiele möglich sein. Und das alles ohne lästige Spezialbrille. Traumhaft!

3DS in schwarz und blau

Den Nintendo 3DS wird es vorerst in den Farben Kosmos-Schwarz und Aqua-Blau geben. Wie auch schon seine Vorgänger verfügt er über zwei Bildschirme, wobei der untere über einen Touchpen bedient werden kann. Die autostereoskopischen Bilder erscheinen dann auf dem 3,53 Zoll großen oberen Screen. Der Handheld kann jetzt vorbestellt werden und wird rund 250 Euro kosten.

Das Ziel ist es einen gefährlichen Auftrag für ihren Boss Glazer zu erfüllen. Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days gibt es für die Playstation 3, Xbox 360 und PC. So wie im ersten Teil verspricht Publisher Eidos viel Action und eine übermäßige Auslastung des zur Verfügung stehenden Waffenarsenals. Also Sonnenbrille auf und ab ins Getümmel. Powerkonsolen.de testete das Spiel auf der PS3 mit freundlicher Unterstützung von 4u2play.

High Noon in Shanghai

Ort des Geschehens ist die chinesische Metropole Shanghai. Grell erleuchtet durch zahlreiche Neon-Lichter, kämpfen sich die beiden Anti-Helden durch eine Horde von Gangs und Polizisten. Die Action steht bei Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days absolut im Vordergrund. Wilde Schießereien sind auch das einzig nennenswerte Spielelement, wenn man mal von den Lauf- und Deckungsintermezzi absieht. Dies ist ein relativ großes Manko dieses Titels, der jedoch durch ein interessantes Setting und sehr glaubwürdige Charaktere den einen oder anderen Action-Fan ansprechen wird.

Grafisch ist Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days ein zweischneidiges Schwert. Auf der einen Seite fällt einem sofort die durchaus realistisch wirkende und belebte Metropole ins Auge, die von einem Meer von künstlichem Licht auch bei Nacht hell erleuchtet wird. Auf der anderen Seite erkennt man bei näherem Hinsehen, dass das Spiel recht detailarm ist. Speziell die unorthodoxe Kameraführung, die einen unweigerlich an den Film Blair Witch Project erinnert, versucht den Fokus von der polygonarmen Außenwelt abzulenken und kann einen zusätzlich seekrank machen.

Irritationen beim Feind

Auch die KI ist mehr als durchwachsen. Während zwar in den meisten Fällen die Gegnerhorden geschickt Deckung suchen und einem das Leben schwer machen, irren einige ab und zu hilflos umher und betteln geradezu darum niedergestreckt zu werden. Apropos, auch das Waffenarsenal lässt sich sehen. Neben gewöhnlichen, kleinkalibrigen Handfeuerwaffen existieren auch größere Wummen à la Shotgun, MG und MP. Diese lassen sich für Konsolenverhätnisse zwar ganz passabel bedienen, wobei das Anvisieren von Gegnern bei anderen Spielen, wie GTA IV oder Red Dead Redemption deutlich besser funktioniert. Hier hätte man noch am Feintuning arbeiten können.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days hat aber noch ein ganz großes Manko. Der Umfang der Singleplayer Kampagne beträgt gerade mal gute vier Stunden. Dies ist selbst für ein Actionspiel sehr, sehr wenig. Ein Trost ist der gelungene Multiplayer-Modus und speziell der Arcade-Modus. Ob mit anderen menschlichen Spieler oder NPCs, dieser Arcade-Modus macht einfach Laune. Dabei wird beispielsweise ein Geldtransporter überfallen und man muss mit einer Gruppe von mehreren Gleichgesinnten einen Fluchtpunkt erreichen. Jedoch hat man auch die Option sich gegen die Gruppe zu stellen und sich dann alleine als Verräter durchzukommen, was aber selbsterklärend deutlich schwerer ist, da ab dem Zeitpunkt die eigenen Kumpanen und die Polizei gegen sich hat.

Fazit Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

Logo: 4u2play.deKaufen, raubkopieren oder doch lieber was anderes zocken? Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days ist ein solider Shooter, mit sehr kurzer Kampagne und keinen nennenswerten Innovationen. Fans des Genres sollten dennoch einen Blick riskieren, denn das Setting wird durchaus realistisch dargestellt und es durchaus Non-Stop Action geboten. Wer jedoch nichts mit Shootern anfangen kann oder von wilden Kameraschwenks seekrank wird, der sollte lieber die Finger von diesem Titel lassen.

Genau so geht es z.Z. Sony. Das Spiel Heavy Rain bewegt sich Richtung Kassenschlager. Da hat Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) auch wahrlich allen Grund zu feiern.

Ein genreübergreifendes Spielerlebnis

Die durchaus überwiegende positive Resonanz bei den Gamern liegt vor allem in dem innovativen Spielprinzip von Heavy Rain begründet. Angesprochen werden Adventure-, Thriller- und Cinema-Fans gleichermaßen. Denn während des Spiels beeinflusst jede Tat, jede Unterhaltung, jede Reaktion den nachfolgenden Spielverlauf. Eine Vielzahl von Endsequenzen macht es spannend und lässt Heavy Rain auch ein zweites oder drittes Mal durchzocken. Der Fangemeinde gefällt’s. Und das Ergebnis kam prompt: nur nach 5 Wochen verkaufte sich das Spiel bereits mehr als eine Million Mal weltweit, berichtete Sony.

Heavy Rain als Special Edition

„Eine Million Mal Dankeschön“ – so freut sich auch der Hersteller Quantic Dream über den Erfolg des PS3 Exklusivtitels. David Cage, Autor und Regisseur von Heavy Rain sagt: „Es ist eine große Befriedigung, das positive Feedback zu sehen, welches Heavy Rain von den Gamern bekommt. Es zeigt, dass es möglich ist, Spiele zu machen, die mit Konventionen brechen, Spiele, die komplexe Geschichten erzählen und Spiele, die unerwartete Emotionen im Spieler wecken können. Toll, dass diese Spiele sowohl in der Bewertung, als auch kommerziell gesehen ein Erfolg werden können. Ich hoffe, dass dieser Erfolg den Weg für neue, grundveränderte Erfahrungen ebnet.“
